I was honestly never a fan of balms (at least the ones I’ve tried in the last). Balms always made my skin feel congested. I reluctantly tried this one and I was really surprised with how fast my skin absorbed it. The next day my skin was smooth and over time I noticed my discoloration fading away, my skin looks healthier and even thanks to this balm. I accidentally dropped it one night and the cap broke a little, yes I believe I had a mini heart attack but we are ok 😆!

Luxe Restore Illuminating Face Balm is packed full of skin-food goodness.  I love it so much that even though it is a concentrated formulation, I only need the smallest amount every time but I have still managed to make a real dent in this balm as my often dehydrated, blemish prone skin absolutely loves it so why not give my skin exactly what it wants especially when it works so well and feels so good to use. With some really beautiful ingredients such as Marula, Oat and Cranberry seed oils as well as Licorice root, Gotu Kola, Ucuuba Butter, Shea Butter and Seabuckthorn this wonderful balm helps to nourish, repair and brighten my skin in the most pampering way as it melts easily on to my skin leaving it feeling so soft and comforted and is a perfect fussy free and beautiful addition to any skincare routine.

My go to balm since it started to get colder, has been Luxe Restore, an essential oils free creamy balm.

Its texture feels a lot like a hybrid of a cream and balm. I believe it’s perfect for someone getting into balms but not yet used to it!

I love the natural scent of the oils and butters, enjoys how it melts right in my hands and spreads on smoothly on the skin to be absorbed readily.

It’s usually my last step after layering my hydrating and/or oil serums.

My friend and I have been blown away time and time by this beautiful balm (despite having opposite skin types and needs), it’s nourishing, not heavy and restores and protect the skin barrier for a healthy glow!
